4. Other Matters

1. Annual Preservation Program May 2006. Mike Long suggests taking a year off from doing awards instead offering a preservation alert power point presentation.

2. Seneca Falls Program April 18. 2006.  Christina Selvek states that Seneca Falls will be presenting quarterly workshops beginning April 18th. The idea is to introduce the process of HRRB meetings, CA’s, etc. Thinks it would be helpful Board members and interested members of the community.

3. Heritage Areas Program. Mike Long states that most heritage areas have multiple themes.  Choose what best fits the community.  The commissioner has added heritage areas.  It is a good way for Auburn to focus on getting grants only available to heritage areas.

4. Mike Long presented in Oswego giving an overview of Auburn projects.  States Judy Wellman is working in Farmington on a Quaker Meeting House.

5. Mike Deming states HRRB should work on specs for windows as there has been an increasing request for replacements.  Also asks about a summer intern. Mike Long will follow up.
